Injured youth succumbs in Hajin

Mir TariqUpdated at 10:30 amBandipora, Aug 26: A youth who was critically injured in Monday’s firing at Hajin Bandipora succumbed early Tuesday morning.
With this the death in the Valley since Monday has reached to eight. Seven persons were killed in firing by police and troopers on Monday while over 200 were injured.Three persons including an aged woman were killed on Monday in the firing at Hajin Bandipora and around 60 were injured, some of them critically.
A carpet weaver Bashir Ahmed Bahar, 28, son of Muhammad Ramzan of Bahrabad was also injured critically on Monday after he was hit by a bullet.
Bahar succumbed to injuries early Tuesday morning, hospital sources said.
Meanwhile, hundreds of people came on streets in various villages of Bandipora including Hajin, Madvan, Saderkoot, Prang, Saiadaunara, Ajas.
The protestors are demanding probe into the killings and unprovoked firing at people.
